When All Else Fails

Love is not where we begin, but it's where new beginnings start.

Love makes music to the souls of men. Love goes deeper than grand claims of wisdom and insight. Love trusts in God whether mountains move or not. Love reaches for more than a wallet and gives from the heart.

Love says "I'll wait". Love resolves to be quite. Love listens past the jeers of man to the cheers of God. Love believes that God will work it all out in the end. Love hangs on when the temptation is to bail out and grows more loving through it all.

Love out-performs our gifting and out-lives our lives.

No person begins with love. But when all else fails, love is the surest sign that Christ has prevailed upon our hearts.
