We all get stuck and sometimes we get stuck before we can even get started. There is a common habit that hampers each of us. Just when we get a dose of passion to blast off into a new land, take on that new venture, or start that project, we fall into old habits that prevent us from taking that first big step of faith. Just when we sense the joy of a new day we see the ghosts of compromise – we default to habits that prevent us from taking that first big step of faith.
Call them by name. Identify those habits that have us frozen in place. The more we call out those habits, the greater possibility to break loose from them, bury them, and build new habits that will lead to extraordinary – this is the only way to get unstuck and make a crossing into extraordinary.
I believe there are four habits common to everyone who is stuck. They are proven and predictable. These habits are effective at keeping us from “going over” into extraordinary. Satan is well aware of our patterns and habits that keep us wanting more but paralyzed – unable to take that big step of faith.
For now, just think about those habits that have kept you back in the past.
