The mind of man plans his way,
But the LORD directs his steps.
This Proverb is not about God scraping our plans and scolding us like we're a wayward son. This is a loving Father who coaches along the way. It's best described as the way God directs the steps of his kids who are under way and ready to honor him.
Well, this week we're jumping into a new series at 180 Chicago and it's not what I had planned. I'm reminded often that we have plans but God orders our steps.
This Sunday I'm going to keep veiled expect for the new Series Title:
Religious Myths vs. Liberating Truth

Here's a question to ponder before Sunday: If you could make a list of your life's priorities, what would they be?
We'll have a guest I'll be interviewing. Mike Felix, one of our advisors, will be interviewed and the topic will dovetail into the message. Mike oversees about 8,000 employees for AT&T across the midwest. You'll love it.
We're in the summer swing and many of you have other commitments. But please pray wherever you are. Ask God to flood us with his presence. Feel free to invite your friends, family, and neighbors. I'm expecting great things!
